Debating Capitalists

Debating capitalists. One of the most effective ways at wasting time. In the past year since I've gained my revolutionary politics, I debated plenty of capitalists. The debate will always start with a typical capitalist misunderstanding of communism and then rise to an all out communism vs. capitalism debate. Usually I'm utterly outnumbered but I hold my ground since I've heard their arguements so many times over. The generic arguements they use are the most effective, however each capitalist I've debated adds an arguement of his own which usually is very silly but needs to be answered. For example, a few guys have given me wild scenarios and then told me to provide a solution. Others have claimed that economists think communism is bad and etc... All of these arguements have solutions but they are extremely time consuming, and after a while simply boring also most capitalists are thick headed and understand nothing you say. It is for this reason that many communists simply don't debate capitalists. I chose to do so as it is one of the ways a revolutionary movement can grow.

Most "capitalists" don't have many good arguments to defend the system because they naturally view it as acceptable because they aren't part of America's 12.7% living in poverty. I suppose it's easy to turn your eyes away when its not happening to you.

The Capitalists don't bother about anything, they just take things for granted and expect their words to be respected.

This is the exact case everywhere

I think one thing that you forget to talk about is the fact that everynation that was communist has or is in the process of falling!
China by the way is capitalist not communist.

You're right anon, China is capitalist and has been for a while.

As for every communist nation failing, that in it's self is a oxymoron. Communism is an idealogy of the distant future which establishes a classless, and stateless society.

Yes, most countries have failed at reaching communism or for alot of them, even socialism but the advancements they made for the working class was great. Things like healthcare, education, and housing all improved in 'socialist' societies. I personally think communism failed because of the way these countries were. Communism is an ideology of the proletariat and calls for industrialized society in order to work. Most of these countries were 13th century agarian societies where the revolutionaries were faced with the task of bring the country out of the middle ages before they could have any success or socialism.
